Bead blasting and sandblasting are options for effective pool tile cleaning. While both methods effectively remove calcium buildup and other deposits, bead blasting utilizes softer glass beads, making it a safer and more controlled option for delicate pool surfaces.
To clean and descale pool tiles, there are a combination of methods, including scrubbing with a baking soda paste, using a vinegar and water solution, or employing a commercial scale remover. For stubborn calcium deposits, a pumice stone or even muriatic acid (used cautiously and diluted) can be effective but costly and very time consuming.
